Re: Hanoi

There are a number of girl friendly hotels which are listed in this thread here, and in the saigon thread, most of them are simple, but reasonably priced hotels.

Even the five star hotels, which are often portrayed as difficult here, have never caused me any difficulties. Imho they just use the regulations as an excuse to make extra money. But not always, it depends very much on the staff on duty.

Some months ago a female friend came to visit me, with her husband; her husband (he's 20 years older than her) would arrive one day later. So I brought her to the Sofitel Metropole. We were having a good time, laughing and joking, we hadn't met for a long time. Reception staff asked me for my passport, obviously they got the impression I would stay with her. I said no, I already have a house here, anyway we're not married, her husband will arrive tomorrow. My friend added "he's my brother".

While we were escorted to the suite, the girl who brought us there kept snickering. In the elevator she started laughing, and said "you're not sister and brother".

To make a long story short, I spent an entire night in Hanoi with that girl, taking her to all the usual places, 17, Ho Guom Xanh, and later Solace. At 4 in the morning we decided to go for a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, and found out that we were hungry. Room Service! So we went back to her suite at the Sofitel, no one protested that I joined, and still no one had asked for my passport. Quite contrarily, everyone was smiling!!!

We ordered a lot of food, the bed looked like a horrible mess, later, when we woke up. I had a shower, went home to pick up my sunglasses (headache and red eyes), and headed straight to the breakfast buffet at the Sofitel. Again, as I walked through the lobby to the restaurant, everyone was laughing and smiling.

Later that day, when her jusband arrived, and we all had dinner, they were laughing and smiling even more. He must have thought it's a very friendly hotel.

Anyway, so the brief point of my long story...regulations are regulations, but as long as you smile, behave nicely, and pay thousands of dollars for a few nights stay, regulations don't matter. On the other hand...as I said...you can also just chose a *smaller) ger friendly hotel, many have been recommended in these threads here.

Ah, Thunderpriest...recently a girl came over to me at relax, a customer, not bar staff, and gave me a big smile. It took me 5 seconds to realise it was your girl from Matador (which is closed now, and re-opened as a vietnamese house/techno disco). cuoi duyen va rat de thuong :)

Wah... your Vietnamese improved a lot, De thuong eh? Guess it was bound to happen sooner of later. Matador just never took off. Enjoy your stay in Ha Noi.

Just a few quick notes and FRs from some last few weeks for me on massage places here in Hanoi. I know many peopl here like other places better but for me massage is still a great time. Hope this helps for you!

1. Went to Oasis again and got number 8. VIP Massage pretty good. She is medium friendly but nothing special and then at the end she asks if I want FS! This is the second time with second girl here (forget number for first). Maybe there is some "deal" with management? But like before I turn it down because I am afraid she will just want it quick and over or just always look through window nd tell me to hurry. If someone wants to check this out...let us know your results!

2. Was brought to new Sakura on Doi Nhan street. I think it is very new but my coworker tells me it is here for 1 year already. They have doctor fish with regular massage and then VERY VIP rooms. Prices are quite high (550 or 650) but the place is also very nice and I had a very beautiful girl for the massage. No doctor fish with VIP room so I dont know about them. For me, tub is very big (I am bigger then many locals so it is bad at some places for this) and glass suana is in the center of the room. Very very nice feel. I forget number for my girl but she was very playful and joking with me. Two fingers very far in and even suck on her some bit. Expensive but very recommended for special occasion.

Hope this does help everyone!
