The divorce paper was signed 6 months later. The local company will be run by Veronica with Mark holding onto 10% of the shares. The house also belong to Veronica but Mark gets to keep 100% of their investment in China. During the 6 months, Veronica and I continued to see each other, both of us becoming quite close.

All in all, it's no fairy tale but I think we did ok. What Mark abandoned has become my greatest treasure.
