Plus, Hilton hotel "allows" companions back to the hotel. Don't know if they still provide this service, but what they do is that when you checkin a companion, they make you sign a chit. However, if the gong an don't come knocking, they tear the slip away.

Alternatively, there is a boutique hotel called Church Hotel in the heart of the old quarters which is really funky. It's a converted art gallery, and the owner is really nice. Nice, comfortable rooms, AND... it is absolutely companion friendly.

Last, since you are hear for quite a while, might be worthwhile to see if you can get a serviced studio apmt over at Hanoi Towers (Somerset Service Apmt). Rate not too different from Hilton, but a lot more convenient, and Relax Bar / 17 Saloon is within walking distance, plus, gal-friendly.
