I can't help remembering that Man U once had a grey away jersey that they dumped after 1 match. The reason given was that the colour grey makes it hard for players to spot one another over long distance. So if you want to pass to a teammate who is 30 metres away, it will take you longer to spot him from the crowd in the background. Wonder how this new jersey will work.
Suppose to be similar to the away grey candy jersey we used to have in 1989/90. I remember John Barnes in that grey jersey.
