All the posts, i decided to tackle on Morten Gamst Pedersen first.
Yes I see well in him, BUT he is like a Benayoun, a Peter crouch, he is thin, he CAN get out muscled. He can be like a Benayoun, but Benayoun is more witty kinda player.
And to top it all, do we really need another midfielder? Our benchwarmers midfielders are doing very fine, very well. The quality is there, they have been superb if not be.

No offence but our benchwarmers are frankly below par. The likes of Pennant are good enough for Birmingham but definitely not Liverpool. The guy was bought to cross balls into the box... and you know what - his percentages of actually getting the ball past the first defender is astoundingly horrid.
I agree Benayoun is a good player but he is no winger. His best position is to play behind the striker - thats where he performs best. I also disagree that you need to be well built to be a winger. Most wingers are smaller in stature. eg. Duff, SWP, and even Downing is small built.

i wonder if we will be able to afford villa.. but can we accomodate 2 strikers?

Villa would be a dream buy. If Rafa can pull it off then it'll surely be the best signing (of recent history) since Torres. But seriously, I dont see how we can afford him when we have cheapskates like H&G managing the purse strings.
Does anyone know why Liverpool keeps signing these supposed promising youngsters from Hungry, Austria etc? I like it that he is planning for the future but then again, what is the point when none of them actually get a chance at first team action. A couple years down, all of them would eventually end up leaving to other clubs and into obscurity. Shouldn't the funds from these purchases be better used to improve the current first team before improving the reserves?
