Hi Bro,
from what i have observed in this forum, the gals family and background plays a very strong part, middle class gals seem to be the safer bet,,,and depending on region too. I do find that Hanoi gals are more conservative, that is why if can find an english speaking one,, its easier to date them, and they are less demanding.
My vn frens did say that there are instances where the gals family wants their son in law to feed them,, but not many and at most, avoid such gals. Middle class and rich in VN, most often know the value of money and will work for it,,its the poor that demands this and that from the SIL (Son In Law)
Not all are like that,,,but this is a general comment, the gals that I know are mostly middle class and working normal jobs. So their attitudes and family demands are different,,but the bottom line is I wont feed my in laws family,,too ridiculous,,as my own family come 1st,, its hard but as said,,have to educate the wife and maybe their family tooo.
