My recommendations... a small air-con (the only one) sea/thai food place along the main road (I think called Noi Seafood) or try the kaao kah moo (pig trotters rice) next door. Next to Noi Seafood is another local restaurant... entrance is small but get past that and there is large al fresco sitting area. There are of course many other local joints here. Feel free to eat & explore. Its safer than it looks.
Directions: from Rachada main road (where Somboon is) walk towards the Huay Kwang junction. At junction, turn left and continue walking. This is Huay Kwang night market. Go straight, pass the 7-11, a new but small shopping complex, cross the bridge over the stinky canal and there u are. It take less than 10 minutes.
If u dun like to eat alone than "ta-pao" or LT a MP or go-go girl from the many joints there. She can be your guide and you won't need to eat alone anymore!

You guys are good , machiam like GPS can remember the direction so well.
Just now tried a Thal FL , she also recommend two seafood places in Huay Kwang , as she worked in one of the MPs there. She gave me the name in Thai , I dont know how to input using English keyboard. I think I just need to point the two names to any pedestrian they should know. She also recommended two of Ang Pais in her MP but cost 5k , i dont think I can afford . Those who want their names PM me for the MP and the gal names.
LT a MP gal ? Must be cost a lot right ? Anyway thanks for the recommendation will up you when power recovers tomorrow.
