I dun see the point of having a grand wedding and burden yourself. Do your sum right, wedding dinner, photo shoots and a lot of others which need money, end of the day, everyone is happy.  |
Don't have to be so worked up, Bro. Be it marrying a local or foreign wife, many people did their homework and asking others for opinons in a forum is one of them.
I believe people are smart enough to know that marriage is a life-long affair and not a one-night event, so everyone is mature enough that they don't get into financial trouble just because of a wedding. No point painting a nice picture to your wife-to-be knowing that when she finds out about your true financial problems, hell could break loose.
So far my gf's side has not ask for much and they are considering just having a dinner at her parents' house inviting relatives and friends over.
