Quansah may be running out of time to prove himself. Teams have learnt that he buckles under close attention. Too easy to bully

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Can now see why Slot flogged to near death a starting core group for most of the season. Also why we can only compete in 1 major competition all season. Sadly, just cannot trust much of what we have in reserve at the moment.
The drop-off in level is pretty significant. Among those who played last night... SELL: - Elliott - Jones - Nunez - Jota - Chiesa - Tsimikas KEEP: - Endo LOAN OUT: - Quansah Really hope FSG backs Arne in this coming summer transfer window. If not, it is obvious we are going to struggle next season. Have to talk about Salah as well. Desperate for him to hit 30 league goals and 20 assists in the Premier League this season. He has three games to find 2 goals and 2 assists🤞🤞 |

you have to agree that it is amazing that LFC won the league while lacking depth in their squad.. But all kudos to the established players, especially Mo, Allison, and that midfield engine.

We will miss his passing range. I think he has won every major trophy with us.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I think we have to put an end to this free transfer shit. If they are not willing to renew, sell them even if they have 1 year to go. We will get some money.
More importantly, we avoid having to focus on the expiring contracts. This season while fighting for trophies on 4 fronts, we have to still think and talk about the contracts of Salah, VVD and TAA. It doesn't help when Salah keeps saying he has no contact with Liverpool in his post match interviews. No man is bigger than the club

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Totally agree but think it is easier said then done after the Bosman ruling, bro. This has been the worst kept secret in football. Anyone with a brain knew about it over a year ago.
Big question though, how to get a fee when a player wants to run down his contract and leave on a free transfer? Yes you can try and sell him before the end of his contract but keep in mind you cannot force a transfer on a player. Alternatively, you can make him sulk on the bench but then other obvious difficulties arise. Also it is clear, Madrid had tapped Trent and was basically looking for a free just like with their other recent star signings like Mbappe. That said, think Madrid had actually offered a paltry £10m-20m for Trent during the last winter transfer in Jan but guess FSG did not take this because we were pushing for the PL. Unfortunately, it ain't easy |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Back to Trent leaving...
Leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth to be honest, although can't totally blame him, this is professional football business. That said, really think he is done on returning to Liverpool with open arms if and when he heads back in any form though. Would be surprised if he turned up for the PL victory parade because if he does, there is probably going to be chaos. Real pity he felt he should go, especially as he is a scouser. I’m gonna miss those incredible long range passes that he made look effortless. 86 assists in 350 odd games is utterly insane for a fullback. Will always cherish the “corner taken quickly” one of the best moments in LFC history! But.... There is just no point in downplaying how influential he used to be to the team and for the club. Genuinely world class and consistently playing at a level above and beyond his peers. Then it stopped dead in its tracks. And whether rightly or wrongly, Jurgen tried everything to eke out that level again, swaying from catering to his game to genuinely pandering to his desires. What is certain, for me at least, is that everything Klopp and Lijnders tried to do with him and for him over the last few seasons had the wrong impact on him. It resulted in a player who largely became detrimental to how we played and fed the player's ego to the point where the basic fundamental contract a player agrees to when he steps over the line and onto the pitch, the prerequisite of hard work and attitude to his team mates, was almost rewritten for him. Whereby there was acceptance that he didn't have to run the line, didn't have to track back, didn't have to do the dirty work that is demanded of him, and that sublime moments of quality were enough. If not encouraged by the coaching staff, then certainly tolerated and accepted. And for me, that's why we have this player we have today. A genuine shadow of the talent he was two or three seasons ago. I don't wish him luck, because I want all players who leave this club for a bigger or better challenge to serve as a reminder that nothing is better than Liverpool. I hope he fails. Hard and fast. But I can't pretend he wasn't once a truly great player for us. So I can at least be thankful to have experienced those fantastic moments. Also, have to agree with Carra when he said on Monday Night Football that no-one (especially those who have no affiliation with the club) has the right to tell us how we should feel about the situation. Where we plant our own flag in the place of deciding the level of betrayal is unique to all of us. So thanks for the memories Trent. But don't let the door hit you on the way out. Might want to run instead of jog to avoid it ![]() |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Real Madrid now trying to speed up Trent's exit for CWC
https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...=breaking-news Real Madrid are considering an offer of about €1m (£850,000) to release Alexander-Arnold early from his deal, @samiMokbel_BBC Oh dear, this doesn't look good on Trent's part. It's obviously coming from Madrid, but it makes it seem that he made the announcement when he did, so Madrid could then put pressure on LFC to let him go early, rather than him having to ask for a transfer himself, which would be sticky for him, to say the least So what do Liverpool do now? Allow him to break his contract early for a nominal fee, or say no, you'll have to wait? |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
What an incredible game of football once again, awesome CL semis!!
It's interesting how Inter has the best defense so far, but still conceded 6 goals in 2 games! Yamal is absolutely incredible But Yann Sommer was brilliant, Dumfries was also superb and Inter deserved to go through in the end based on resilience What a game, no one wanted it to end. 13 goals in two legs, countless comebacks, endless amounts of chaos and brilliant technical skills all-round! Am sure this talented young Barca team will win a CL sooner or later but for now Forza Nerazzurri ![]() |
